Today in home pre school we made reindeer feet.. I saw this on pinterest and thought it was cute. The kids liked me painting their feet.

I still have a million and one things to blog about from the past few months, but this is an easy quick post.... and what I have been up to lately.

Ruffled Pillow Cover.

 I actually did a tutorial on this on the VS blog... check it out.

I got Graham some sheets at a garage sale and there was no pillow case but two top sheets, so today I quickly whipped up a pillow case out of the extra top sheet.

I made Graham these shorts because I got the fabric at fabric store for $1.10.  I used this tutorial. and added pockets... Only problem is I didn't follow my gut and make them a titch larger.. They are too narrow for Graham's liking so handed them down to Karson.. Hope they work for him...I have enough to make another pair...

Hoping to make the new ones tomorrow.

Next on the list was a cape for my boy.. he saw them at Six flags last week and I said NO WAY to buying one but I would make him one.... I loosely followed this tutorial... I did use her template for the batman emblem.

Emily made the Aqua one and I make the yellow one... I used a tutorial and can not find it at this moment. UGG.

WAY Over Due Bee Blocks

All three are made from vintage sheets.

This block is uber time consuming... Never will I make a whole quilt like this!

Scarlette's Pink Party...Part One

First off, Internet problems all week... uugggg! Yes, I know Scarlette's birthday was over a month ago, there were just soooo many photos to edit and collect from people that it has taken me forever. This is just part one, because it is late.

I started planning and making things about a monthish in advance.  Every Monday night I took a different project to Tiffanie's house for our Bachelorette watching night. Thanks for all the help girlies!

We used mason jars tied with pieces of pink fabric as our cups for the party, and not one broke:)

You can see a bit of the darling pink bunting I made... which is still outside, because I love it.  Going to have to take it down though because it will rain at some point in the dear future.

 Pink lemonade in a vintage mayo jar.

 We glittered the top of the bubble containers and tied them with pink tulle and printed out a special label.

 This is one of the funniest things... My daughters posted this on the main bathroom mirror!

See the cute banner... Lisa made it for Scarlette.  It is now hanging in her room:) 

I also served pink milk and pink Sangria!

Made it Monday

Here are a few photos of things I have made recently.

This is a before and after of sorts. The blue wipe case on the bottom is the one I used for Graham and as you can see it got a lot of use. The black and pink one I made to use in my diaper bag for baby girl. A lot of people sell these wipe cases and I thought about it, but they are just too time consuming. If you want to make one just drop me a note and I can give you instructions, it is not hard.

More baby wash cloths, I had none and now I think I have 8. Still not enough, but better than NONE:)

I made these place mats and napkins for my Grandma for her birthday which was the 1st. She sets her table every day with pretty place mats or table runners, and she has many different sets of dishes. Makes you wonder where I got my collecting gene from!
This pattern was from a book I have, but am not about to lug my pregnant body up the stairs to go get it. If you need to know email me and I will then drag myself upstairs:)

These are the last things I have knit recently, just haven't started anything new yet. The hat is a newborn hat for baby girl it is out of the same cotton as the blanket I knit her. She may not get much use out of it here, because it is so dang hot here, at least in NOR CAL it cooled off in the evenings!

Close up of the Mary Jane booties, these knit up super quick. The pattern for them is in the list of things I want to make on the right side of the blog.

Lots of other UFO's(unfinished objects) laying around right now. Hope to get to a few more of them before baby girl arrives!
