Baby Bedding

Baby girls bedding is almost done, just have to make the bumper pad. I have been procrastinating on making it because I am thinking it is going to take a bit of time, especially since I want to add a ruffle. I am working up to it, I want to finish the writing on the wall this weekend and get the furniture painted. Chad said he will help paint, yippeee!!!

Finished her crib comforter, the ruffle took forever, ugg. It looks really pretty so I guess it is worth it!

A little closer view.

I know this is a lot of pictures of the same thing, but was having a hard time getting a good shot of the comforter and showing the colors accurately!

The crib sheet is not in the fabric I had originally purchased, because the pattern I was using gave me incorrect measurements. UGG So, instead of paying shipping on more fabric, I decided to go to TJ Maxx and buy a set of twin sheets. I was able to get two sheets and a mini pillow case out of it and lots of fabric left over for other small projects. I still love the original fabric and am sad to not have it for the sheet. I did use it for the inside of the diaper stacker and may incorporate it into another project in the room, we shall see.

How cute and sweet! How exciting for you. I totally understand when you say you are working up to finishing a project, it always takes me time to start a project and once I start I can't stop until I finish it...well, at least with most things. I still have a few projects that are not complete, that I have been working on for what seems like...forever.:) At least your husband is going to help paint. This is one job I HATE!!!:)

Im sick. sad, scared, NOT READY, want to turn back the time so desperately bad... Where did it all go??????? I have 5 girls. all 2 years apart except for this last precious baby (10 yrs. later) : ) (all same daddy too! geeze some people!)haha anyways.... sorry so long, but its late, im so sad my first born is growing up so fast & moving on. I AM NOT READY and she does not have to LEAVE yet. she can stay here and go to college right!? :O

SO enjoy, prepare, relax & LOVE life with your sweet baby & family. do not take anything for granted. next things you know... she's off to school and moving on as a big girl. too fast. WOW. i must be sad & not ready. who am i talking to right now?haha goshhhhhhhhh I got carried away. im not even deleting this. I spoke from the heart. a mommy not wanting her first born baby to grow up right yet. Thats life. one day at a time. Enjoy every minute. even the stressful times. Those are even wonderful to me now.
