My Pseudo Sewing Room

For the first time in about 7.5 years I do not have my very own sewing room....SNIFF  We are living in a pretty small house for the amount of people and stuff we have, so I have had to get creative.  A lot of my sewing stuff is in totes and organized on shelves in the garage.  Which is hard for me because I like to see what I have, or I forget about it.  So I decided I needed a place for my fabric to be inside where I can see it.

I turned half of my entry closet into sewing headquarters.  I found the shelf at a garage sale a couple of weekends ago.  I wasn't even on my way to yard sales, I was running errands and saw a sale, so I pulled over.  I spotted the shelf right away, it is super chippy.  I asked the lady how much and she said 10$, so I stared at it for about 10 minutes then left, drove around the block and decided I wanted it.  It was worth it for the amount of storage it gives me.

The brown doors on the right of the photo are my front doors, ignore the ugly rug it is temporary.
The right half of the closet is packet full of coats.

The top shelf of the closet (which you can not see) is currently holding photos and albums,I hope to find some where else for them to go, so I can put more sewing stuff up there.

I also hung a hook on the left side (low) for my purse to hang on.

Multifunction and making do with what I have is the name of the game.

I here you. My stuff is spread between the basement & dining room. Not exactly ideal. Hoping we both get a little sewing space soon!

I love your idea! I lost my sewing room last summer to my daughter that moved downstairs so the baby could have her room upstairs. We are maxed out in our house too so the kitchen table is my new sewing area when the kids are at school. Oh I dream of the day I can have my own sewing room again.

Look at all that fabric! I dont have a craft room either. Maybe one day. But for now, all my stuff is in our "outside" bathroom. Its connected to the house but outside of the main house, on our porch. Weird, maybe, but it works!
