Vintage Goodies From Gma's House-Part One

Chad's Grandma was moving out of her home of 59 years, and the girls spring break coincided with her moving so we headed to OR to help out.  It was emotional for Chad and his family as they all had so many great memories in this home. I'm really glad that Chad was there, I think he would have been really sad to have missed walking through the house one last time and telling me and the girls all his fun memories.

Chad's Grandmas darling house.
We brought a trailer with us because we took her dinning set home with us.. photos soon!

Until then here are some of the other treasures we came home with.

Love these cups, Grandma El said Cottage cheese use to come in these, how cute is that.  They will be great with a cocktail in them this summer:)  One got broken today... not happy!  I also broke one before we left OR:(

Fun kitchen goodies.

Most of these are from my MIL... I was caught by Gabby staring into the linen closet.  She wanted to know what I was doing and I said just looking:)  My MIL was not using them so said I could have them!

 Vintage sheets from MIL!

Apparently this tape measure was Chad's Great Grandfathers... How cool is that.

There will be a part two to this post, possibly a part  three as well!

Wow, nearly 60 years! That's amazing to think about. Love those pink pillowcases - I have that print in blue/green but hadn't seen any other colors of it. Nice to know they are out there!

That's really awesome that you guys got to help. When my mom died my aunt went through everything and only saved a small box for me. There is much more I would like to have had!

Those linens are drool-worthy! And I love the glasses. Too bad things dont come packaged like that anymore.

Oh wow...what treasures, but also how sad about Chad's grandma. So many memories!

My mom had glasses that cottage cheese came in too...I think I still have 2 or 3 of them left!

Can't wait to see the rest of the pics!
