Visit With an Old Friend

Tuesday my friend Kristina emailed me saying they might be able to stop by on their way back to NY. We wrote back and forth and she was set to arrive Thursday evening at 6ish. As you can imagine I was cleaning like a crazy person Wed:) They didn't end up arriving until 8pm, due to traveling with three small children. Kristina and I have been friends since 7th grade and we last saw each other about two years ago at my house in Napa.

We let Graham and Gwen stay up later than usual so they could visit. Graham loved playing with Caroline, Kristina's 3 1/2 year old. They were up until 10pm and Kristina and her husband Ian an I were up until 1am visiting and laughing a lot. Chad had to work so went to bed about 11:30. I was so glad they stopped by because I had not seen her almost 1year old twins, who are adorable and I wanted to eat them up.

This is not the best picture, but we only had time to snap a couple and this was the best one. I look terrible, YIKES! But aren't the babies so cute:)

We had a wonderful visit even if it was short, they left at 11:30am on Friday so they could get on the road. So fun to visit with friends from the past!
