Goat Cheese

Sunday afternoon we headed off to the Goat Lady Dairy in Climax, which was about a 25 minute drive. The farm was having a open house and being the goat cheese loving family that we are, we had to go.

We visited and pet the chickens, feed the goats, wandered through the garden and sampled the super yummy cheese. They had about 10 different types, we bought the plain and the dill/chive combo. We are going to have it for dinner tomorrow night:) Thank goodness it is pasteurized or I would not be able to eat it for about three more months.
A very fun family outing!

Cool kids you have...they seem to be enjoying it. Oh and goat cheese is really yummy and they say goat's milk is the next best thing to a mother's milk...so goat cheese should be great for us peeps.
