Family Fun

Saturday night the girls were begging us to take them to the local minor league baseball game. So we all got ready and loaded everyone up in the car and headed out.
The game was set to start at 7:05pm so we arrived about 6:30 so we could get situated in a good spot. We opted for the grass seating instead of seats because we thought it would be easier with Graham.

Here we are all settled on the grass waiting for the game to start.
Gabby took the picture.
Really wish I could crop the fat white legs out, YIKES!

Me and the kidos.
And more of the fat white legs!
After Chad took the picture he went to go get an adult beverage for himself and some sodas for us. While he was gone they announced a game delay until 8:05pm due to possible rain.
Sure enough we had to pack everything up and head for shelter because it did rain.

Gabby, Graham and her Friend Erin who we ran into.
This whole rain in July thing is so weird to me. Especially weird since it was 80 out.

The in field all covered up to protect it from the rain.
The game did finally start at 8:05pm.

Much later in the evening, Graham laying still for about 10 seconds.

We made it until about 11pm and the top of the 8th inning, then Graham was out of CONTROL!
The girls were really disappointed to have to leave before the end of the game and the fireworks.
Here they are sitting with the Greensboro Grasshopper.

We had to get baby girl in there too:)
We had a great time as a family despite the rain and having to leave early.

Graham woke up talking about the baseball game!

Looks like a fun time! We have a minor league team here as well, and the Detroit Tigers spring train here, but we have never been to a game. We thought Blake might enjoy it, but not sure about Layla.
