Saturday night the girls were begging us to take them to the local minor league baseball game. So we all got ready and loaded everyone up in the car and headed out.
The game was set to start at 7:05pm so we arrived about 6:30 so we could get situated in a good spot. We opted for the grass seating instead of seats because we thought it would be easier with Graham.

After Chad took the picture he went to go get an adult beverage for himself and some sodas for us. While he was gone they announced a game delay until 8:05pm due to possible rain.
Sure enough we had to pack everything up and head for shelter because it did rain.

This whole rain in July thing is so weird to me. Especially weird since it was 80 out.

The game did finally start at 8:05pm.
Much later in the evening, Graham laying still for about 10 seconds.
We made it until about 11pm and the top of the 8th inning, then Graham was out of CONTROL!
The girls were really disappointed to have to leave before the end of the game and the fireworks.

We had a great time as a family despite the rain and having to leave early.

I see one of your baby names is Charlie. I have a friend that just had a girl, she named her Charlotte and they call her Charlie...CUTE!

Looks like a fun time! We have a minor league team here as well, and the Detroit Tigers spring train here, but we have never been to a game. We thought Blake might enjoy it, but not sure about Layla.
