Remember This.....

Remember this nicely laid out quilt top.

I had laid this out before I went to the hospital to have the baby.
This is what I came home to!

Thanks to my children leaving the dinning room door open and the cats running through my quilt top!
So glad I had not laid the whole thing out yet.

Everyday I have thought about going in to work on it and have yet to have a chance to do it!
Maybe tomorrow will be the day!
Off to bed.

Hi Jen, I know you are probably busy with your new babe and all, but I just saw on little cumulus, that she participated in your vintage linens swap, well obviously, I totally missed it! I've been wanting to do this kind of thing. Do you have any leftover or an idea of what I could do to get some? Thanks!

I just popped in to see if we have a baby yet and... Oh Yea! Scarlet! I love the name Scarlet Grace. Beautiful. I voted for that one. Congratulations on your baby girl. I hope everything went well and that you're healthy and the baby is too.

All the best,
Mary

Oh no! But that would TOTALLY happen in my house as well. I have a dresser in the hall that WAS the "cat free zone". They just woudlnt get up there. But for some reason now they do. Nothing is safe!

I can feel your pain! My "furry children" have wreaked havoc on many of my projects when the hubby didn't close the door tight enough.

I always have a feeling of doom when I come home and see the door open to the "craft room".

Please forgive me for giggling when I saw this pic. It just so perfectly represents life in a busy household. I'm sure every woman can relate. Congratulations on your new little Scarlette Grace. Lucky mommy, lucky family, lucky Scarlette. : )

It's funny..everyday near the day Penny was due, I was thinking to myself "What if I left for the hospital tonight?" as I walked around the house. I pictured things just like that! I hope you are enjoying your baby as I am mine!
