I have been dieing to join an online quilting bee...but whenever I see one, they are all ready in progress or full. So I thought I would see if anyone wants to join me for a quilting bee.
What is a quilting bee you ask? It is a group of 12 ladies who each host a month and choose their fabric and block design. The hostess then sends the fabric to the other 11 ladies and each person makes a block or more and sends it back. This is repeated each month for a year until each person has had their turn. It gives you a chance to try out new quilt blocks with out having to make a whole quilt. Here is a link to a flickr group called quilting bee blocks, great place to get inspiration.

I am looking for 11 ladies, who love quilting and want to be part of a bee. US residents please... due to postage cost. All skill levels welcome.

Oh, I'd love to. I really would. But I'm in two bee's right now and behind on both. Way behind. But I'm keeping an eye on this post. Maybe, just maybe, if I can get caught up and you aren't filled up yet.....then maybe I can talk myself into it. LOL
