Blogger's Quilt Festival-Scarlette's Zig Zag Quilt

I have missed out on the last two quilt Festivals and have been waiting patiently to participate in this one. This is a fun blog wide event put on by Amy for all of us quilters to show our favorite finished quilt.

First off .. Why am I naming it after Scarlette?   Because I started it when I was nine months pregnant with her, I finished the top right after she was born, while she slept on my sewing room floor.  And one year-ish later I finally put it all together.  Still hand stitching the binding down but didn't want to miss out on the festival.

Here is a link to the original post when I finished the top.

The entire quilt is vintage sheets.
This quilt is for me for now....... Scarlette Grace will get it someday.

You still have a couple of days to join the fun so pop over and link up to the festival.

A very pretty rainbow of colours, Scarlette is very lucky that she will get such a lovely quilt when she is older.

It is lovely! I love how the vintage sheets give it a watercolor look. I have been saving vintage sheets, so maybe I need to try something like this!

This is a delightful quilt!
Great selection of colours and patterns from the vintage sheets. They work so well in this design.
What wonderful memories, too, of the time you have been making it!
