Sew and Tell Friday!

It has been eons since I have participated in Sew and Tell Fridays, mainly because I never quite finish any projects in time!  Click on the button above to see what all the other participants have made!

A new camera strap cover.  I made it from one of my vintage sheet FQ's!

This really didn't require sewing, but it did require cutting so I am including it. It is a TUTU for miss Scarlette, OMG she will be soooo cute in it!  It is soft pink which is hard to tell from this picture!

Tonight I whipped up some PJ pants for Graham.  It actually took me longer to get the machines out and the serger threaded and to find a safety pin then it did to make the darn pants! Oh how I miss my sewing room...sniff sniff:(

Super model pose. He came up with this one on his own.  Yes, they are flannel, yes it is almost summer. BUT, I made up the pattern from a pair he all ready had and wanted to make sure I liked how they turned out before I made more.  Will be making some light weight cotton ones next. They are a twinge big, but have not washed the fabric yet, so it is sure to shrink and it gives him some growing room:)

Close up of the cute monkey space guys, he has a cute red t shirt to wear with them, this is just what was clean since laundry is too boring and unfun to do at the moment!
have a great weekend.

Your blog is so cute! And so are your projects.

By the way, I have a Graham, too. Our older daughters made PJs for Graham and our youngest daughter, Gabriela, a couple of years ago. I had them hold up signs stating which sister made which modeled pair.

I enjoyed reading. (Love the tutu!)

You've certainly had a productive week! I'm envious. :-) The vintage sheet camera strap is really pretty, and the jammy pants turned out great! (Adorable model you have there.)

Hi! I just found your blog via Shara at Monkeybox. I love your idea for vintage fabrics. I also have been collecting vintage sheets and cases for as long as I can remember! Thanks for a couple of great blogs! Keep up the good work!
