Mustard Flowers Napa Valley 2012

It's that time of year again here in the Napa Valley... Or it was a few weeks ago.  The mustard flowers bloom for a short time and they are on there way out. There are still some to be found bu not like the field we found this year!                                            first few are taken with my phone.

We had a great time..  The dog and Graham ran to their hearts content!

I met Ben the Bachelor!!

As everyone who watches the bachelor knows.... Ben has a winery in Sonoma... which happens to be a quick 20 minute drive from Napa where I live.

We heard through the grape vine that Ben's winery Envolve was having a special event at Enoteca Della Santina .   We thought it would be fun to go, since we watch the Bachelor together every week, not to mention we love wine tasting.  I forgot my camera and my phone... so annoying... but the girls snapped a few photos for me.

The wines were all really nice, I loved the Rose... it would be a perfect for summer... it was great because it was not super sweet. Light appetizers were served...and were quite yummy.

Ben was gracious and posed with anyone who asked and at one point he said I am just a regular guy....

His partners were really nice as well.... My favorite was his mom, she handed out roses at the end of the night and was super sweet and cute. I was surprise that there were not more crazy girls there.. TIFFANIE was the crazed fan in our group;)  

We wen back to Traci's house and watched the Bachelor when we got home.

It was a super fun girls night!

My boys first time ice skating

Me and Graham ice skating over the weekend..he was a little scared at first...but by the end he was going (slowly) around with out holding on to me or the rail..it was fun....I sort of hated the hockey skates...harder to skate in than figure skates...and not cute at all...but for an outdoor seasonal rink it was great....Looking forward to Napa on Ice again next year...the big girls were there a ton!

Christmas...

I didn't take many pics... but here are a few highlights.

Gabby Christmas eve.

Tiffanie and I on the wine train.. We took the littles on the wine train... they do a special for Christmas.. two free kids with one adult ticket... which they deeply discount. The fun part is Santa, elves, frosty, rudolph and carolers walk through the train. You can order from a menu of pastrys and other snacks and of course a wine and cocktail list and hot coco for the kids... we did it every year when the girls were little.

Meet our mischievous elf .... Howie... he is our VINTAGE elf on the shelf. I was not about to pay $35 for the actual elf on the shelf when I had a perfectly cute vintage one.  He turned our milk green that day!  Scarlette  asks me every day... where's Howie?  The concept of the North Pole is a hard one for her to grasp.

PHEW!!!! Now I can move on to this year!
